The Monroe Lions Club is proud to partner with the Monroe Public Schools Foundation to offer two college scholarships to students graduating from Monroe High School, Sky Valley Education Center or Leaders in Learning. The pre-requisite for this student scholarship is that the student participates in projects that benefit their local community. The Lions club scholarships are designed to help students with their post graduation educational plans including trade school, technical school, college or university.

The Monroe Public Schools Foundation (MPSF) manages the Local Community Scholarship Awards Program. The MPSF is a nonprofit organization which will make any donations made towards this Scholarship award tax deductible as allowed by law. Anyone making a donation for this scholarship will receive a tax letter in January income tax purpose from the MPSF.
100% of any money donated for this scholarship will sent directly to the college of the recipient’s choice.
