We are honoring the memory of our late daughter, Kaytlyn Hogan-Oxenhandler, 2018 Monroe High School graduate, by providing scholarships to those High School Seniors who can demonstrate how they have helped others in their community during their life. Kaytlyn was heavily involved with Community Service and showing compassion for others with many random acts of kindness. She was working towards her degree and goal of becoming a K-9 Police Officer so that she could continue to help others and serve her community. We want to speak with those students who show the same ambition and willingness to help others and their community by discussing their Awesome Acts of Kindness throughout their life.

How can you qualify?

  • Tell us about activities and Acts of Kindness you have performed that shows compassion for others while helping their community.

  • Describe your plans for continuing to help others and your community after High School graduation.

Note: While a GPA is not indicative of a student’s ability or willingness to help others and their communities, we do require students applying for the Kaytlyn Hogan-Oxenhandler Awesome Acts of Kindness Scholarship to have at least a 2.5 GPA and a high ambition to excel in their future studies and helping others.
