The Monroe Education Association is a union of the educators working with students in the Monroe School District.  We have been awarding scholarships to graduating seniors for over 25 years.  We believe our students will be better prepared for the world of tomorrow if they have the opportunity to attend college.

Students who apply for this scholarship must be a graduating senior in the Monroe School District and a child of a member of the Monroe Education Association.  This is a competitive scholarship and the MEA Scholarship Committee will be looking at the GPA, types of classes taken, school/community involvement, personal statement, and plan to attend or acceptance to a college of each applicant.

We will be awarding scholarships of $1,000 to be paid directly to the college which each recipient is accepted.

If you would prefer to contribute via check, please send your donation to the following address. Please also mention "MEA Scholarship" either in the memo line of the check, or by attaching a separate note.
